Soiling sensors

E-Dust calculates dirt losses based on actual power losses in photovoltaic plants, unlike traditional methods that rely solely on short-circuit current measurements.

By comparing the maximum power between clean and dirty photovoltaic modules, we accurately determine the optimal times for cleaning, addressing both uneven dirt and variations due to the angle of incidence of the sun, in accordance with the IEC61724-1 standard.

All data is processed automatically and available on our online platform, allowing these losses to be monitored on a daily, weekly, and annual basis. The platform also identifies annual dirt patterns, facilitating strategic planning for cleaning campaigns.
